Learning Support Team

My name is Mr White and I have been a teacher at Lliswerry since 2001. I am a PE teacher in school but I’m also the Leader of Learning Support. This means I look after all pupils who need additional support to help them learn in class. I also work alongside the school’s youth workers and counsellors to support pupil’s mental health and wellbeing. At Lliswerry, we work really hard to make you feel safe in school and we offer many different ways of supporting you. I look forward to seeing you in September.

My name is Mrs Frampton and I am the HLTA/Assistant ALNCO, and I have worked at Lliswerry High School for 19 years. I organise the team of LSAs who are around the school to help you and I also organise any extra support lessons that you may have to help increase your skills. You will come across me throughout the school year for different reasons. We may need to write your One Page Profile, carry out some basic assessments, or for extra support lessons. You may also come across me at break time and lunch time in our Social Club. Mrs Cooper will be able to assist you with access to this. I am here to help support your well-being and education, and will listen to and help with any issues you may have.
